Yesterday Benetti presented a preview of the shipyard’s new products: Oasis 135’, Diamond 145’ and 4 BNow models.

Oasis 135’ is a yacht designed by RWD based on a new concept that offers a contemporary take on the use of indoor and outdoor spaces, for an owner in search of a distinctly informal relationship with the sea.

Diamond 145’, the flagship of the Class product line fleet, is a yacht with a sophisticated design that represents the ultimate expression of displacement models in the Classic category.

The 4 BNow models are Custom yachts, again designed in collaboration with RWD, created to offer a modern onboard lifestyle by connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Benetti’s advanced construction technology ensures short delivery times.

At the presentation, the sale of the first steel hull and aluminium superstructure yacht below 500 GT from the new RWD designed BNow concept was announced. The valuable customer from Middle East is a repeat customer of Benetti.

With these new products, Benetti intends to introduce new elements of style while remaining faithful to the fundamental principles that underpin its long history and tradition.

To each his own dream

Oasis 135’: anew lifestyle balanced betweensport andrelaxation

What is an oasis if not a point of refreshment, a dream come true that appears unexpectedly on the horizon? A promise of freshness, relief and relaxation to enjoy in complete comfort: this is the intended message conveyed by Oasis 135’, the new model in Benetti’s Classproduct line. Created to satisfy the needs of an active and sophisticated owner who wants to live his life at sea to the full and across the board, and who has a lifestyle focused on casual elegance, Oasis 135’ is packed with solutions in which close contact with the waterplays a foreground role, as is demonstrated by the spectacular beach area with infinity pooljust steps from the sea. The high ceilings, the unusual layout of the onboard spaces, and the extensive use of natural light confirm and underscore the desire to enter into a symbiotic relationship with the outside world.

This ambitious project, on which Benetti has worked in partnership with UK-based firm RWDand New York design studio Bonetti/Kozerski thathas designed the interiors, revolves around an onboard lifestyle in which sporting activities alternate with periods of total relaxation. Adrian Chisnell, Team Principal at RWD, describes the concept like this: “We’ve revisited the classic concept of onboard life. Today owners don’t use their boats in the same way as in the past. This yacht reflects a new more dynamic and less formal lifestylefor active, curious ownerswho don’t spend much time lying in the sun because they prefer to explore and enjoy the places they’ve just reached on their yacht”.

The interiors, designed by US-based firm Bonetti/Kozerski, are casual-chic in style and reveal a highly sophisticated use of materials, colour combinations and forms of decoration, all underpinned by an elegant sense of understatement. The designers’ choice of materials for the decor includes light color leather and rosewood in light, bright colourways. Taken together, all these details define the setting and the overall effect is that of a spacious loftfeaturing seamless continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, where the multi-purpose settings can be enjoyed at any time of day.

This is how Enrico Bonettiexplains the essence of this project: “The spaces conveya sense of calmand are decorated with materials that exude quality. Classic materials that may not reflect the latest trends, but are certain to retain their beauty over time. This model is characterised by the understated eleganceand quality on which Benetti has built its reputation”.

Sophisticated settings with a classical feel meet a dynamic lifestyle on board Oasis 135’, a 41-meter displacement yacht with a fibreglass hull and superstructure, and a layout extending across four decks.

The Master Suite on the Main Deckoffers the owner a spacious apartment with an elegant marble bathroom. The galley is also situated on this deck, along with a huge day areathat replaces the traditional saloon. Here, the windows around the entire perimeter can be opened to create a unique setting in close contact with the sea, with no barriers between indoor and outdoor spaces. This deck provides access to the beach terrace, which can be made even more spacious by opening the two side platforms. The yacht also has one generous balconyin the owner’s suite.

The pilot househas been designed for the first time as a living space dominated by extensive glazed surfaces, a lounge area with sofas and armchairs, and a carefully arranged workstation, in which the helm console, an area for relaxation and the chart table form a single setting from which to enjoy the cruise from start to finish. The captain’s cabin is located immediately aft of this, while the night area for guests is on the Lower Deck, with two VIP cabins and two cabins with twin beds. Further forward are the crew quarters, with accommodation fornine people.

Cruising speed stands at 14.5 knots, with a top speed of 15 knots, and the yacht has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.

Diamond 145’. Power and balance.

This 44-meter displacement yacht draws on the core features of the Benetti Displacement Class across its entire history.

Expert ownerswill be struck by a yacht that can be an integral part of their finest moments with unparalleled style, comfort and safety.

The elegant design suggests the proportions and details of a large yacht and conveys a feeling of sturdiness and power. The discreet but tangible sense of refinement will strike a chord with owners who love to combine glamour with credible practicality.

The seamless design of the huge glazed surfaces accentuates the length of the yacht and its brightly-lit interiors. The exterior styling, which stands out for its remarkable continuity of lines and surfaces, is the work of Giorgio M. Cassetta: “The Diamond 145’ represents yet another step in the evolution of the Benetti Class Displacement range. The clean, smooth lines embrace the proportions of a big yacht. The high hull sides and extremely long reverse sheer line suggest leisure cruises in complete safety, while the sculpted masses of the superstructure define a refined and dynamic style. The distribution of the settings and layout is based on meticulous optimization of the available space. My team and I have researched each detail for three years to create a yacht that is both extremely luxurious and immediately practical. The beach club in the stern, located right above the sea surface, is the most obvious novelty on the yacht, offering an independent, highly flexible and visually striking space”.

The interior design is based on roomy, welcoming settings, where the choice of light colour shades underscores the wealth of natural light. In the words of the designer, Achille Salvagni: “I want to sculpt space, giving it character, dignity and strength. I’m looking for curved linesthat come together and flow. The interiors of this yacht are timeless, because they unite vintage concepts with contemporary ideas. True refinement is cosmopolitan, telling stories and recollecting memories. The settings should therefore be interpreted as a story”.

Access to the Main Deckis by two wide stairways in the stern, which are also one of the yacht’s architectural highlights. The main cockpit welcomes guests in a wide and bright setting, and leads seamlessly to the immense, fully glazed main lounge. The full-beam master cabin in the bow has a roomy wardrobe, a full-beam bathroom and a study or office. The galley and service areas are laid out to make best use of the space available, in such a way as to provide high level service on board, without encroaching on guests’ privacy.

The Upper Deckfeatures a big outdoor area in the stern with access to the lounge, which is dominated by extensive glazed surfaces that cover 80%of the perimeter. The extremely spacious piloting area is positioned next to the captain’s cabin for perfect visibility. The bow area is the largeston the market, covering 70 square meters and featuring a remarkable custom spa pool.

The Sun Deck, over 115 square meters of outdoor space and can be furnished according to the owner’s tastes. All life rafts and all functional features are hidden or integrated in the design to avoid contaminating the purity of the yacht’s contours.

The night area for guests is on the Lower Deckand is made up of four double cabins, with the option of a fifth on the upper deck. The crew quarters and laundry are fit in the bow area.

The Beach Areaand Beach Club can be fully customised and can be enjoyed both at sea and at anchor.

The two 1,400 hp Man engines will drive the Diamond 145’ to a top speed of 15 knots and at a speed of 11 knots the yacht will have a range of 3,800 nautical miles.

BNow: maximum comfort with short delivery times.

True luxury, far from mere ostentation, means having our every desire satisfied, no matter how small, and owning something unique and different from all the others, something that answers the most personal needs. This is the philosophy that underpins BNow, the family of displacement yachts with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure in the Custom product line. Featuring streamlined exterior lines and a vertical bow, the yachts in this product family offer well-being and comfort accompanied by much shorter delivery times. With the help of Benetti’s advanced construction technology, all BNow models will be built in less than the standard time recognised by the market.

Four different lengthswill be on offer: 50 meters, 55 meters, 63 meters and 68 meters in length. The result of close collaboration between Benetti and UK-based superyacht designers  RWD, the yachts will have a layout that can be customizedand newly designed exterior contours aligned with specific demands from various owners. In response to the original brief “to create an innovative well-being concept for the maximum comfort, light and use of spaces.” RWD have developed a seamless indoor/outdoor living area with panoramic Pool Lounge as an extension of the aft deck and Beach Club.

The creativity brought to bear by RWD has produced four models that share a unique family feeling and are immediately recognisable, with their sleek, sweeping lines. Their profile stands out for the dynamic union it creates between the decks, which have long windows that act as connecting elements in the creation of a uniquely harmonious whole and represent the main distinctive feature.

All the layouts feature a new and revolutionary concept of onboard lifestyle, because they make innovative use of the spaces from day to night.

As can be seen, this last type of yacht too reflects developments in the yachting market and the needs of a precise type of owner, one looking for a casual and contemporary feel without compromising on the highest levels of comfort and privacy.

The storied Viareggio-based shipyard provided the backdrop on August 9 for the launch of the second Mediterraneo 116’ unit, a 35.5-meter fiberglass and carbon fiber yacht in the Class Displacement series that will be ready for delivery next October 30.

Like the previous model, the exteriors are designed by Giorgio Maria Cassetta, while the interior design has been developed by the shipyard Interior Style Department in collaboration with the owner’s designer of choice. Sleek, streamlined contours on the outside are matched by interiors offering the ultimate in livability and seamless continuity of space, in which light plays a key role, in part through the use of big glazed surfaces and a crystal glass door.

Comfort, luminosity and design were the key concepts when designing the owner and guest spaces. Outside, there are two big dining areas (including one over-6 meters wide in the huge cockpit on the Upper Deck) and various extensive spaces furnished with sunloungers, sofas, deckchairs and armchairs. The sundeck deserves special mention, offering a total area of more than 80 square meters and a continuous walkable surface almost 16 meters long.

Inside, the Main Deck stands out for the roomy lounge area, consisting of dining and relaxation spaces, each with three-meter long windows for a sensation of continuity with the world outside. The full beam Master Suite is situated on this deck in the bow, with a studio and cabin that also feature big glazed surfaces, both 3.4 meters long and free of uprights. The four guest cabins on the Lower Deck consist of two facing Vip cabins aft with double beds and two guest cabins with twin beds and pulman beds that allows to host 2 more guests on board.

The crew accommodation for a total of seven people is provided by three cabins, plus the captain’s cabin on the upper deck next to the helm station.

The two CAT ACER C32 Rating D (1600hp @ 2300 rpm) drive the yacht to a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of about 14 knots. The yacht’s range at 10 knots is 3,000 nautical miles, with stabilization at anchor and underway provided by electric fin stabilizer.

Custom Line 106' exteriors 3.jpg

The new addition to the Custom Line planing range  was presented at the 2018 Miami Yacht Show.  It is the second model by Francesco Paszkowski Design  and it will make its debut in late 2018.

Custom Line is broadening the horizons of perfect yachting with a new project that got an enthusiastic response from the public and members of the trade at the recent US boat show.

The Custom Line 106’ is a new addition to the planing range. It is a product of the partnership between the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio, the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee led by the engineer Piero Ferrari.

The design of the lines on the bottom and the hull helps it to replicate and build on the outstanding hydrodynamic performance of the latest models in the brand’s planing range.

“The Custom Line 106’ marks another step forward in the growth of the Ferretti Group brand dedicated to large fibreglass yachts. This exceptional vessel complements the Custom Line planing-hull selection, which comes together with the array of semi-displacing models to form a comprehensive range for owners who want sizeable spaces, cutting-edge technological solutions, style and comfort: in other words, Custom Line excellence,” stated Alberto Galassi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ferretti Group.

“In the design of the new 106’, a number of the brand’s distinctive features have been emphasized and new stylistic traits have been introduced. As is plain to see in various places, efforts have been made to break down the boundaries between the exterior and the interior. The new technical solutions and all of the aspects of the exterior and interior lines are closely interlinked, as they are all parts of a single architectural arrangement with perfect balance between the forms and functions,” explained Francesco Paszkowski.

EXTERIOR

The new yacht has large floor surfaces (a total of 220 m./2,370 square feet) that are all interconnected. To the stern is a more advanced version of the patented DMT – Dual Mode Transom system. It features two hatches that cover the stairs when the vessel is in motion, thus giving the stern an unbeatably clean-cut appearance. When the ship stops, they disappear into the central part of the door so that guests can climb up. From the garage, a tender of up to 5.45 metres and a three-person jet ski can be lowered into the water.

The forward area is even bigger than on other recent models: on the raised central island there are sofas and upholstered seating with reclining backrests and on the bow area there is a large sun pad spanning a total of 36 m. (387 square feet). There is also an additional garage for a Williams 2.80 Jet or a three-person jet ski.

The forward area is directly connected to the 53 m. flybridge by a walkway. Protected by two large windows on the sides, it has a standard hard top with two skylights. In addition, Bimini tops or canopies can be fitted to provide shade in the external areas.

INTERIOR

The interiors of the main deck are bathed in natural light thanks to the large, full-height windows. On request, the central window on the starboard side of the lounge can be fitted with an electric opening mechanism. The support columns used on the Custom Line 120’ can also be found here, with lighting, audio and air conditioning systems on them.

Further along the starboard side, there is a full-beam master cabin in the foredeck. It is 6.50 m (21’4”) wide and contains plenty of storage space for the owner, as well as two dressing rooms and a large bathroom with dual facilities and a central shower. On request, a panoramic terrace can be added.

The port-side bulwark of the main deck provides access to the galley, the crew quarters (consisting of a cabin for the captain with a bathroom and a separate shower, and two crew cabins with a separate bathroom), and the integrated raised bridge.

The layout on the lower deck contains four standard cabins: two VIP cabins amidships and two twin ones forward, all with separate bathrooms. The beds in the VIP cabins face the bulwark to make the most of the view from the large hull windows, while an optional additional Pullman bed can be fitted in each of the two twin cabins.

The style of the vessel continues in the same vein as the Custom Line 120’: it explores greater formal balance and there are distinctive, strong colour contrasts in the furnishings and coverings.

Like the other recent Custom Line models, the 106’ comes with innovative software that allows an iPad to be used to operate the entertainment system installed in the lounge on the main deck, meaning that the various remote controls can be replaced by a single device. This technological solution can be extended to all of the different parts of the maxi yacht and it can also be used in conjunction with the owner’s personal devices.

The Custom Line 106’ is fitted with twin MTU 16V engines rated at 2217 mhp, which can take it to a maximum speed of 23 knots (preliminary data). Alternatively, it is possible to ask for twin MTU 16V engines, which can generate 2638 mhp and reach a maximum speed of 26 knots (preliminary data).

The standard version is equipped with electro-hydraulic stabilizing fins, offering both underway and zero-speed modes. On request, gyroscopic stabilizers can also be fitted for maximum comfort at anchor.

As the Dubai International Boat Show 2018 comes to an end this week, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) along with UCINA Confindustria Nautica, the Italian Marine Industry Association, hosted an evening reception to celebrate the country’s thriving boating sector and flourishing relations with the UAE.

Held at the Italian pavilion inside the tent, the event was attended by institutional bodies represented by Valentina Setta, Consul General of Italy to Dubai; Gianpaolo Bruno, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE, Oman and Pakistan; and Carla Demaria, President of UCINA – Confindustria Nautica – Italian Marine Industry Association; along with a collective of companies operating in the nautical sector that are exhibiting to showcase Italian innovations and solutions at the five-day show.

Presenting a global boating industry overview based on a survey by the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, Demaria said: “The last three years have been the fastest growing years for Italy with two-digit growth. Leasing, which grew 70% in value, was the biggest booster and resulted in 26% increase in the number of contracts.” While sharing the newly-approved Italian nautical code, she commented: “We are delighted that the new codes which will benefit the maritime industry have been finally approved by the Authorities. These will simplify processes in boat registrations and licensing, and very economical as well.”

The Italian pavilion is located at Stands E18 – E19, part of the Equipment Supplies & Services area. Taking place at the Dubai Canal until March 3, 2018, the show opens at 3pm and ends at 9:30pm. For more information on ITA’s participation, please visit: www.ice.gov.it; www.eventsitadubai.com

The Sunreef Supreme 68 Power ATHENA

Sunreef always puts a smile on our face at Dubai Boat Show with their new announcements and this year it was no different. We got introduced to an ultramodern motor catamaran, the Sunreef Supreme 68 Power ATHENA who takes her name from the Greek goddess of wisdom, courage, mathematics and arts.

The DNA of the yacht draws a lot of inspiration from her patroness’s versatility. The boat’s sublime design, cutting edge technology and pioneering character all reflect her universal spirit. The architecture of this yacht model revisits the way catamarans have been built so far. Her radical design allowed to create an immense saloon surrounded with floor to ceiling glass – a space opening wide both onto the cockpit and passageways.

The  large 65m2 interior deck is big enough to place a beamy master cabin in the bow with access to the front terrace – a layout solution that gained Athena’s Owner’s attention. The master cabin occupying the whole front part of the deckhouse is fitted with a king-size bed and offers a panoramic view. The Owner’s realm also features a large desk, ample storage, a dressing room and a master bathroom with a magic glass wall.

The living space or Athena’s saloon was given a soothing and elegant design, combining shades of light oak with glossy white and embossed leather finishing. Placed amidships is a vast lounge with a U- shaped sofa facing a 65’’ TV. This central seating area is surrounded with an onyx-clad bar to portside and a coffee table to starboard.

The portside hull houses the comfortable crew quarters and mess neighboring Athena’s well equipped galley, pantry and storage rooms. The galley is fitted with a food elevator, serving both the saloon and flybridge. One of the yacht’s ample forepeaks provides room an additional bed and bathroom for Athena’s crew. The bow section of the port hull is occupied by a guest cabin with twin beds and a spacious bathroom. The layout of the starboard hull features another guest cabin as well as a luxurious VIP cabin with a double bed, a sofa, a vast bathroom and dressing area.

Athena features an immense flybridge topped with an elegant bimini. This scenic area is fitted with a mist sprayer, a bar, a barbecue, a large table for eight and mattresses to obtain a vast dining and lounging space of 65m2. The yacht’s big front terrace is a prime place to relax on the large sun pads or to enjoy a bath in the Jacuzzi.

Equipped with an aft garage, the Sunreef Supreme 68 allows to conveniently store the 445 Williams tender, a kayak, a diving compressor, lockers and additional freezers. The garage door, when lowered, creates an aft platform ideal for water sports.

The main navigation station on Athena is placed on the flybridge. The yacht features a powerful Volvo IPS system for a maximum of maneuverability and optimized performance. An additional joystick and aft cameras are installed to ease the mooring in crowded marinas. With 7000L of fuel capacity, Athena enjoys all the autonomy she needs.

Custom Line 106'_project

The Riva 66’ Ribelle, Custom Line 106’ and Pershing 170 concepts  score a huge success at the “Miami Yacht Show 2018”

As well as providing the backdrop for the three exclusive America debuts of Riva 56’ Rivale, Ferretti Yachts 920 and Custom Line Navetta 33 (already a winner at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards), the leading US boat show staged on Collins Avenue also crowned the three new projects from Ferretti Group as the top novelties of the 2018 yacht season.

Promising beauty, design and top performance, their names are Riva 66’ Ribelle, Custom Line 106’ and Pershing 170. They were presented to journalists and the trades during the Ferretti Group press conference at the Miami Yacht Show, arousing both interest and curiosity, as well as beginning the countdown until their debut.

It is no coincidence that these three new projects were announced in Miami, a unique city where beauty and the avant-garde are everywhere you look. Riva 66′ Ribelle, Custom Line 106′ and Pershing 170 bear witness to Ferretti Group’s ongoing commitment to innovation and close eye for detail.

The launch of these new concepts also represents further confirmation for Ferretti Group of the effectiveness of its commercial strategy and the value of a business plan that has seen the launch of 25 new models over the last three years.

Miami and the US market as a whole, where strong growth and numerous negotiations make this a strategic area for the Group, is demonstrated by its Fort Lauderdale headquarters, which manages brand sales and marketing throughout the region.

THE PROJECTS ANNOUNCED AT THE “MIAMI YACHT SHOW 2018”

Riva 66’ Ribelle

66’ Ribelle is the new model in the Riva fleet and will be making its debut in 2018. A product of collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee and Ferretti Group Engineering Department, it will be built at the storied Sarnico shipyard. Unprecedented novelties will join the brand’s distinctive features in a boat whose very name demonstrates the desire to break the mold.

Custom Line 106’

Custom Line 106’ is the new jewel in the planing series. Following suite with the Custom Line 120’, it is the second model designed by Milan-based naval architect Francesco Paszkowski, working in close collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee and Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Custom Line 106’ is the extraordinary result of a creative Italian approach that transfers the languages and styles expressed by eclectic and complementary design universes to the maritime environment.

Pershing 170

Pershing 170 will be the brand’s new, high performance flagship and is the result of collaboration between architect Fulvio De Simoni, the Strategic Product Committee and Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The new 170- footer will be built at the Group’s Ancona production facilities, which specializes in the construction of steel and aluminum super and mega yachts over 40 meters. The construction of this new flagship projects Pershing into the new era of cutting edge design and construction introduced with the Pershing 140.

Benetti_Delfino 95' (1).jpg

The Delfino 95’ “Christella II”, the first yacht to be built in the Class displacement product line, has been delivered to its owner. An exterior design featuring flowing lines and extensive glazed surfaces is matched by remarkably spacious and liveable interiors.

At a ceremony held in Viareggio, the owner from the Czech Republic received the Delfino 95’ “Christella II”, a yacht with voluminous interiors and exterior lines designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta.

Benetti General Manager Christos Ramnialis expressed his satisfaction with this new delivery, commenting: “The Delfino 95’ follows on from a series of major successes for Benetti. It is a product that retains the winning features of previous models, adding to them unprecedented innovations and points of view.”

While the defining characteristic of the Delfino 95’ is without doubt its livability, other unusual design features are the transformation of all functional elements into decorative components and an original light design, drawing on the collaboration of UK-based design firm Aqualuce.

The interiors have warm colours and atmospheres: the main variety of wood used is canaletto walnut selected without flaming, interspersed with printed leather panels. The flooring in communal areas is parquet too, while carpet has been chosen for the cabins. The marble used is Eramosa.

The Lower Deck has four double cabins for guests, two with double beds and two with twin beds. Accommodation is provided for five crew members.

The Main Deck features classic shapes and settings. The owner’s cabin, almost 7 meters wide and 3.2 meters long, has a separate wardrobe and a bathroom with a spacious shower cubicle. The main lounge stands out for the two huge glazed surfaces that extend over its entire length, on either side, and the sliding door that connects it with the outdoor space.

The positioning of the entire command station on the top level allows the service area to be concentrated on a single deck, making it more practical for crew members to perform their work and providing more privacy. The Upper Deck contains a rest and relaxation area, a sun lounging area, the helm station and a dining area with opening roof and mood lighting, plus an open air living space in the stern. The Sun Deck, unprecedented on a boat this size, is furnished with two sofas.

The garage can accommodate a tender up to 4.40 meters in length and the yacht is fitted with two 1000hp Man V8 engines, driving it to a top speed of 14.5 knots.

SUNREEF SUPREME 68 POWER CHRISTINA TOO

By Shereen Shabnam

sunreef_68P03_002_web.jpg

Sunreef makes some of the best yachts in the world and the Sunreef Supreme 68 Power is no different. Fast, stable and luxurious, Christina Too enters the fleet as the most advanced edition of the Sunreef Supreme boasting an amazing trifecta of state-of-the-art technology, bold styling and performance.

Commissioned by an adventurous African couple with ambitious navigation plans, Christina Too offers her Owners the best of safety, comfort and speed. It is powered by two IPS Volvo 1050 (2 x 800 HP) and equipped with dynamic positioning,.

With the carefully designed specs, Christina Too is bound to be a pleasure to handle and be able to maneuver easily in crowded marinas. At sea, her set of wave piercers and dynamic trim control system allow for optimized performance with over 25 knots of maximum speed in all stability.

Features of Christina Too include night vision cameras, 360° thermographic camera, in-built tender refueling system, impressive freezing volumes and battery-powered air conditioning. Christina Too takes care of and entertains her owners and guests day and night.

While much attention was given to practical aspects and low maintenance, this Sunreef Supreme 68 Power is a lot about hospitality and ensuring guests have a good time. The yacht’s bow terrace is fitted with a big sun awning stretching over the entire lounging area comprising large sunbeds and a Jacuzzi. Two well equipped bar modules are installed on the vast flybridge providing plenty of space for dining and sunning.

The size of Christina Too is optimised and hence it is comfortable to accommodate eight guests thanks to the smart layout including two master suites with generous quartz-clad bathrooms and two guest cabins.

The vast main deck featuring a full beam galley and saloon is given a bright custom décor combining grey and cream tones with contrasting colorful furniture. In addition, a state of the art surround system sets the mood for entertainment in the 65m² living space along with a dropdown 55″ TV.

The Sunreef Supreme 68 is the world’s only 68-foot yacht model equipped with a superyacht dinghy garage and boasting 300m² of living space. Christina Too is hence using this potential efficiently and most importantly it is one of a kind. All aspects of Christina Too seems to express the owners’ quest for adventure and life at sea.

Glider Yachts Limited, the British luxury yacht designer and manufacturer, is launching a new funding round following overwhelming interest shown in its Super Sports 18 (SS18) model at the Monaco Yacht Show last September where nearly 50 qualified clients registered their details with Inwards Marine, Glider Yachts’ UK and European Sales Agent.

The new funding round aims to attract investors to support the next stage in Glider Yachts’ development programme. This centres on the building of the SL24 Sports Limousine model, the designs of which were shown at Monaco and aroused considerable interest from several superyachts and private island resort operators where the new model would be used as a chase boat or luxury shuttle.
The SL24 can carry up to 12 passengers and two crew at up to 50 knots. There are many internal layout options which include an en-suite toilet and the customisation options are limitless.
“What sets Gliders apart compared with travelling at speed in a conventional yacht,” Robert McCall, Glider Yachts CEO, said: “is that even in small waves the ride can be uncomfortable. Gliders, however, deliver a beautifully-smooth ride experience.”

Robert added: “From extensive sea-trials over the last year and a half, we’ve found Gliders reduce wave motions felt on board by up to 70% in comparison to conventional boats. This is a key selling point with our designs along with the speed our yachts can travel.”

Glider Yachts has plans for a full range of gliding yacht models with the SS18 and SL24 at the lower end and the superyacht sports range from 35m to 80m at the top end. It is proposed to start building these in 2019. Glider Yachts’ unique range of superyachts have been nine years in development, with meticulous planning, design and world-class British engineering using best practice and expertise from Formula One and the aerospace industry.
