New Pershing 8X: The Carbon Fibre Revolution

The masterpiece of the “X Generation” debuts at BOOT Düsseldorf 2019

Pershing continues to accelerate on the course of innovation and contemporary aesthetics.

Like its predecessor 9X, the new 8X is made of the same material that the most advanced nautical dreams are made of: carbon fibre. This material not only means lighter weight, greater speed, and lower fuel consumption, but also more volume due to the ability to design larger, more comfortable spaces.

The on-board comfort is extraordinary, thanks to the many benefits offered by the new system that integrates propulsion control with the manoeuvring, navigation, and monitoring systems. With the new 8X, “piloting” a Pershing, even at high speeds and without the support of the captain, is fun and accessible.

25.55 meters in length (approx. 83’) and 5.86 meters wide (approx. 19’), Pershing 8X stems from the collaboration between yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni, the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, headed by Mr. Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s Engineering Department. Pershing 8X expands the current range of the brand, as it is situated in the under 30-meter market segment as an innovative product that represents a true evolution in terms of stylistic-functional aspects and performance.

Made of carbon fibre, this new model features lines that are even sleeker and sportier, enhanced by characteristic Pershing elements like imposing side wings and the aerodynamic profile of the sundeck. The result is a yacht in the sport-fly range with an unrivalled combination of quality and innovation.

Benetti FB277 (1)_1.jpg

Today in Livorno Benetti has successfully launched FB277, a 107 meters motor yacht, the biggest ever built in Italy by a private shipyard. Powered by a diesel electric propulsion system, the yacht’s interiors and exterior have been designed entirely in house by Benetti and managed by Imperial, acting as Owner’s Representative, Build Supervisor and Yacht Manager of the vessel. The giga yacht has a hull constructed in steel and a superstructure of aluminium. She features a large swimming pool on the Sun Deck, a grand piano, a Spa with hammam, massage room and gym and a touch and go helipad. Her maximum beam is 15.2 meters and she has a full load displacement of 3,300t.

Benetti FB277

The giga yacht “FB277” is a stunning creation of epic proportions. From the exterior, her elongated and linear profile, emphasized by balanced ribbons of glazing, speak to the admirer of contemporary and minimal design. Her strong plumb bow is businesslike and rooted in the practical need to tackle swelling seas with ease and comfort. Here also, a vast helicopter pad makes for uncomplicated landings. To the stern each gently staggered deck ends in graceful sweep downwards.

In terms of guest facilities, “FB277” covers all the bases, adding delights guests might not have even thought to indulge in during their seafaring adventures. On the Wheelhouse Deck the master cabin is a sumptuous full beam size, flanked by identical port and starboard balconies leading on to vast dressing rooms and an interconnected bathroom. The Upper Deck saloon, aft of this suite, is perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day, listening to the grand piano or watching a movie on the private sofa. On the Main Deck, seven huge VIP cabins, each with a large bathroom, are placed forward of the spacious main dining and saloon area. A mesmerizing spiral staircase with a full height inner atrium intersects each deck. Half of the Lower Deck and some space on the under Lower Deck has been set aside for generous amounts of crew accommodation.

A spacious beach club has access to the sea on both sides of the beam, as well as to stern, creating a huge connection with nature. The ship’s connecting spa area is equipped with a gym and a hammam and massage room. Large areas of deck satisfy the sun lovers: the top deck features seating and sun pads for those who favour a view, whilst the Sun Deck accommodates dining areas, more sun pads and a huge pool that can hold about 21,000 liters. More outdoor seating is found on the Wheelhouse Deck and aft on the Main Deck.

Delivery of the yacht is expected to take place in Summer 2019

Of the launch Benetti’s CEO Franco Fusignani says, “We are thrilled to see the launch of this beautiful giga yacht. The first of three currently under construction in parallel in Livorno. “FB277 is, in reality, more beautiful and impressive than we could ever have possibly imagined. With this launch, we recognize the first essential step in strengthening our Brand in order to offer the same outstanding high-end vessels we are already known for in the megayacht sector to the giga yacht sector. Today, Benetti is the only private shipyard in Italy, and one of very few anywhere in the world, with the capacity and capabilities to build yachts over 80 meters long. This giga yacht puts Benetti on the map for building yachts of over 100 meters. We would like to thank the city of Livorno for its help in achieving this tremendous milestone.”

Julia Stewart, Imperial Director: “FB277 marks an important step in Imperial history by being not only the first and biggest superyacht ever delivered in Italy by a private shipyard, but also being one of the most exclusive vessel available for charter from Summer 2019 and beyond. “FB277” is a major milestone for our industry, by her extraordinary proportions, her impressive high ceilings on both exterior and interior sides and the fantastic amenities she is carrying. From an impressive Beach Club with Hammam to her giant pool on Sun deck, through her touch-and-go helipad and her versatile, tasteful 7-cabins layout, “FB277” represents the utmost luxury for all superyacht passionates looking after a tailor-made charter journey. We are proud to give birth to a successful superyacht, and we look forward to seeing her sporty, roaring lines cruising along the seven seas.”

Benetti’s Giga yacht construction programme, which includes the two other giga yachts in build and due to be launched in the next few months, has been the subject of major investment at the shipyard. An ambitious business plan has prompted financial input of more than 15 million euros in infrastructure, organisation, safety and security, to overcome the challenges presented by building such giga yachts. The development by Benetti of the Giga yacht construction programme has also required the creation of a special team of experts in this specific type of project. Expansion at the Livorno shipyard, in the form of two new generation steel structure sheds, have enabled Benetti to massively increase its productivity.

To the aft, two transformer platforms serve both as passerelles and swim ladders. The yacht’s ample garage holds the tender, jet-ski and wide selection of water toys. CRN AlfaRosso 45mt_profilo.jpg

The new project’s explorational spirit shines through with strong lines and multiple outdoor spaces,a perfect blend of luxury and comfort

CRN unveils the AlfaRosso concept,an innovative explorer yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, available in three lengths – 45, 50 and 55 metres – with a gross tonnage from 499GT for the 45m model.Designed for an owner who loves long voyages of discovery to remote places, the AlfaRosso concept finds expression in a displacement yacht where contact with nature is elemental.

AlfaRosso is a yacht of unmistakable style. The rigour of her architectural geometries, her crisply defined hull profile, and sharp, clean lines create a sensation of poetry in motion. This pairs beautifully with the studied appeal of the open spaces and the exceptional indoor comfort. The stern, lower-deck, and main-deck areas also boast a singular design. Unlike typical explorer yachts, where these are normally technical areas,on AlfaRosso they are designed for guests to savour the sea to its fullest extent. The pool, the extensive terraces, and the glorious windows, some from floor to ceiling, offer a panoramic experience that is truly unparalleled.

The magnificent craftsmanship of this yacht is displayed both indoor and outdoor. The star here is teak wood, which forms a bridge between tradition and innovation. In the sumptuous indoor spaces, the continuity between interior and exterior is exquisitely expressed in the understated elegance of the steel handrails, chosen in place of the classic gunwales, in the sophisticated minimalism of the open-step stairslinking the various decks, and in the sense of consummate relaxation exuded by the flush-deck pool on the main deck. These details bring guests into closer contact with the sea and the air, removing any barriers that might hinder the fullest enjoyment of the on-board experience. The tender and all the toys are stowed in the bow area to keep the surface area clear and clean while further emphasising AlfaRosso’s dynamic personality and her owner’s passion for exploration.

“We are excited to continue our collaboration with a dynamic industry leader like Francesco Paszkowski Design.CRN has been a pioneer in the explorer vessel sector, adding an important new chapter to yachting history. In 1983, we created the first explorer pleasure boat, the iconic F100 designed by Gerhard Gilgenast, which went on to achieve cult status.Solidity on the water and a sense of being at one with the surrounding space were the principles underpinning the AlfaRosso design, in perfect harmony with the crisp styling by Francesco Paszkowski”, commented Stefano De Vivo, CRN Chief Commercial Officer.

“Power on the water and a sensation of merging with the surrounding space are the keys to this design.AlfaRosso’s sharply defined architectural geometries embrace large indoor guest areas with generous windows that give a strong sense of continuity between inside and outside.Remarkable open-air spaces, conceived as grand terraces gazing on to the sea linked by open-step stairs, lend the entire design a sense of gossamer lightness, where the use of teak provides the link between tradition and innovation.Working with a historic yard like CRN has always been a great source of pride for our studio.Being able to create a new project backed by their proven expertise and solid know-how once again has been an inspiring experience”,said Francesco Paszkowski.

Created to satisfy the needs of an active and sophisticated owner who wants to live his life at sea to the full and across the board, and who has a lifestyle focused on casual elegance, Oasis 135’ features high ceilings, the unusual layout of the onboard spaces, and the extensive use of natural light confirm and underscore the desire to enter into a symbiotic relationship with the outside world.

Diamond 145’. Power and balance

The Diamond 145’ is the flagship of the Class product line fleet with a sophisticated design that represents the ultimate expression of displacement models in the Classic category. This 44-meter displacement yacht draws on the core features of the Benetti Displacement Class across its entire history.

The elegant design suggests the proportions and details of a large yacht and conveys a feeling of sturdiness and power. The discreet but tangible sense of refinement will strike a chord with owners who love to combine glamour with credible practicality.

Access to the Main Deck is by two wide stairways in the stern, which are also one of the yacht’s architectural highlights. The main cockpit welcomes guests in a wide and bright setting, and leads seamlessly to the immense, fully glazed main lounge. The full-beam master cabin in the bow has a roomy wardrobe, a full-beam bathroom and a study or office. The Upper Deck features a big outdoor area in the stern with access to the lounge and the bow area is the largeston the market, covering 70 square meters and featuring a remarkable custom spa pool.

The two 1,400 hp Man engines will drive the Diamond 145’ to a top speed of 15 knots and at a speed of 11 knots the yacht will have a range of 3,800 nautical miles.

BNow: maximum comfort with short delivery times.

The 4 BNow models are Custom yachts, again designed in collaboration with RWD, created to offer a modern onboard lifestyle by connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.

Featuring streamlined exterior lines and a vertical bow, the yachts in this product family offer well-being and comfort accompanied by much shorter delivery times. In response to the original brief “to create an innovative well-being concept for the maximum comfort, light and use of spaces.”

RWD have developed a seamless indoor/outdoor living area with panoramic Pool Lounge as an extension of the aft deck and Beach Club. All the layouts feature a new and revolutionary concept of onboard lifestyle, because they make innovative use of the spaces from day to night.

With these new products, Benetti intends to introduce new elements of style while remaining faithful to the fundamental principles that underpin its long history and tradition.

Custom Line Navetta 42.jpg

Over 300GT of customisation for a masterpiece of comfort, conviviality and on-board privacy

Custom Line has reached a major landmark in its storied history with a new model of boundless beauty: the magnificent Custom Line Navetta 42, the shipyard’s biggest yacht ever. Following its official premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018, the new flagship has been one of the stars of the Monaco Yacht Show 2018.

The fruit of a two-year collaborative effort by the Product Strategy Committee headed by Engineer Piero Ferrari, the Group’s Engineering Department and Studio Zuccon International Project, the new super-yacht epitomizes a sailing philosophy based on superior design, sophisticated elegance and extraordinary performance. The new flagship, the brand’s first above 300 GT, combines the qualities of seaworthiness, comfort, safety and customisation – all part of Custom Line’s DNA since the beginning – into a product that is truly revolutionary in terms of style, design and spaces, and whose range places it at the top of its class. The yacht’s colours, finishes and materials, as well as its many free-standing solutions and interior furnishings, were chosen in collaboration with Studio Luca Bombassei, a renowned Italian architecture and design firm, and are yet another testament to the endless possibilities for personalisation offered by Custom Line.

With a length of 41.8 metres (137’2’’ ft.) and a beam of 8.1 metres (26’7’’ ft.), Custom Line Navetta

42 features a semi-displacement hull with a bulbous bow that ensures maximum efficiency in any sea condition, reprising the solutions already adopted on its smaller precursors, the Navetta 33 and

Navetta 37. Throughout its 4 spacious decks, the new flagship presents a fully-customisable internal layout conceived to exploit the ship’s generous volumes to the fullest and to offer maximum liveability in all areas, with impressive lengths and heights above 2m in the interior spaces. The result is better organisation of on-board flows, total privacy for the owner and his guests, and great freedom of movement for the captain and crew.

The solid profile of Custom Line Navetta 42 exudes the unmistakable elegance which characterises all Navetta models: an impeccable blend of linear and essential architectural solutions that conveys a sense of strength and character on the water.

Internally, Custom Line Navetta 42 blends exquisite chromatic harmonies with a selection of refined materials and surfaces. Walnut and dark oak are the dominant essences of the interiors, and combine seamlessly with the lacquered surfaces of the ceilings, the bronze-coloured brushed steel of the handles and handrails, and the mirror-finish steel used for the doors.

In perfect chromatic harmony with the dark woods, the main colour tones range from grey to beige, with teal details that recur in the sundeck’s unusual chairs, in the upper deck’s carpets and cushions, and even in the formal dining table on the main deck.

Navetta Custom Line 42 is a striking example of that “family feeling” which made the brand famous worldwide: it welcomes guests into a modern and stylishly eclectic ambiance, enriched by a contemporary vibe that reverberates in the elegant yet functional furnishings, with their inn ovative and essential design.

Aside from the unquestionable elegance, the new Custom Line flagship also impresses for its engineering innovations. Navetta 42, for example, offers unrivalled noise isolation thanks to a special flexible joint in the transmission lines that absorbs vibrations from the axis line. The goal of minimising phonic impact was fully achieved through targeted mathematical analyses for each and every noise source and its location on board. Cutting-edge damping solutions were also employed, using glued panels that increase comfort by reducing noise and vibrations. Furthermore, just like on Navetta 37, the main deck is fitted with a state-of-the-art floating floor: a technique whereby the floor surface is separated from the fibreglass base by a layer of sound-absorbing materials, to reduce the transmission of noise and vibrations from the engine room to the living areas, while also softening any footfall.

Finally, as it exceeds 300 GT, the new Custom Line flagship must meet certain regulatory requirements such as those pertaining to stability in the event of a breach. Should the hull become damaged, Custom Line Navetta 42 features a system of automated waterproof doors that close upon specific commands by the captain, in order to isolate the forward compartment from the aft one, thus ensuring safe navigation.

The spacious main deck cockpit, fitted with an electric canopy, is completely customisable with free-standing pieces, so the owner may create the kind of environment that best suits his taste. The electric glass door of the salon opens onto an indoor living area approximately 11 metres long,

which includes a comfortable sitting area as well as a formal dining room with a 6-person table. For greater privacy, the ample side windows in the salon are equipped with electric blinds, which can be controlled remotely via iPad.

The main deck’s dining area is framed on both sides by two sliding windows that shower the interior with plenty of natural light, highlighting the space’s colours and materials: a panoramic balcony comes standard on the starboard side, while the port-side bulwark has a fixed window in the standard layout but can be fitted with another balcony on request. On the first unit, both the upper deck and main deck were equipped with a custom K-Array audio system, featuring innovative loudspeakers with an essential design.

Past the dining area, on the starboard side, is the guest area which also includes a day head. This is also the location of the lift, which on request can go from the lower deck all the way to the sundeck, offering a solution that is extremely competitive on the market – on the first unit, for example, the lift reaches the upper deck.

The port side, entirely dedicated to the crew and separated from the guest area, gives access to the galley, the bridge (located on the upper deck) and the crew quarters.

Proceeding forward, we reach the exclusive owner’s suite, with a surface of 50m2, that opens onto a studio space by the entrance followed by a sitting area. The main space features a storage bed that helps optimize the use of space, and a master bathroom in marble with two separate toilet rooms. The “His and Hers” design approach is also evident in the two ample walk-in closets located on the port-side bulwark. To create an even more soothing sense of softness and warmth inside the suite, the flooring on the first unit features a special combination of materials, with a built -in carpet installed onto the parquet hardwood.

An innovation which was introduced for the first time on this yacht is the pull-out balcony inside the owner’s suite, developed in collaboration with Fratelli Canalicchio, which can be provided on request. An extremely versatile solution, this balcony consists of two main components: a glass window panel that swings upwards to open and a gunwale that slides outwards to create the balcony’s floorboard, which aligns seamlessly with the floor of the owner’s suite. Two automatic chandeliers  double  as  handrails  and  serve  as  a  safety  element  for  this  enchanting  space suspended above the water.

Custom Line Navetta 42 optimally exploits the yacht’s generous spaces all the way to the far end of the stern, with a large beach area at water level that provides unforgettable moments of pure enjoyment. Devoid of any technical elements, this spacious area of nearly 30 m2 can be arranged and furnished according to the owner’s wishes, in order to maximise its comfort and liveability. From the beach club, on the port-side, we reach the semi-floodable garage with side opening, which can house a Williams 625 transverse tender. The garage is equipped with a slipway launch system and a hatch that opens upwards.

On the lower deck, the 4 guest cabins are arranged in a perfectly symmetrical layout which, however, was varied on the first unit in order to make room for the lift shaft. The two aft cabins, both with a king-size bed, reprise the design concept seen throughout the rest of the ship: glossy, mirror- polished surfaces that add depth to the spaces, and light-coloured carpeting to enhance the sense of comfort and warmth emanating from the dark oak essences. The forward section features another cabin with king-size bed plus one twin cabin – with the option to have an additional Pullman bed  installed    that  perfectly embodies the  family spirit  that  characterises the  entire Custom Line range. All cabins have spacious dressing areas and en-suite bathrooms that feature a similar design to the owner’s bathroom, with precious marbles and exquisite chromatic harmonies. Every cabin also offers a cutting-edge Mirror TV – with no visible buttons – that looks like an authentic fixed-image painting, and further enhances the stylish yet essential vibe on board.

The upper deck greets its guests with a spacious panoramic salon furnished with chairs and sofas from the latest collection by Minotti, which adorns the interior spaces with its inimitably soft and

refined style. Along both bulwarks are two spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows that open, giving access to the side walkways: on the port side is a quaint and private panoramic terrace, while the panoramic area on the starboard side is instead directly connected with the forward area. The living area features a next-generation retractable television hidden in the drop ceiling, whose screen can rotate 180 degrees in order to be viewed also from the outdoor space.

The upper cockpit can be reached from the salon through a glass door that opens completely, creating a single space that seamlessly joins the indoor and outdoor areas. In fact, in addition to

sliding electrically, the four glass surfaces also rotate on side hinges to open up the whole area and create a striking spatial continuity. The outdoor area, with light-coloured teak floors that counterbalance the black and grey of the finishes, houses a large 10-person dining table and, all the way aft, a comfortable C-shaped couch. This leisure zone offers a further layer of comfort thanks to its pull-out side awnings on both the port and starboard sides – especially practical in the event of wind or bad weather. On request, an electric canopy can be installed to fully cover the upper cockpit, as was done on the first unit.

Heading forward down the corridor we find a day head on the right, a separate pantry with dumbwaiter on the left and the access point to the crew area, until finally we reach the helm station, which features a captain’s cabin and its en-suite bathroom. The integrated bridge, developed together with Teamitalia, is equipped with 5 monitors including 2 touchscreens and an innovative stretched screen display. Other features include a virtual keyboard, to sail in total safety thanks to the fully-integrated instrumentation, and a FAR radar. Here, with anthracite grey leathers that blend harmoniously with the dominant dark-wood mood, the sleek and simple lines that define the space become synonymous with safety and comfort.

The living area on the foredeck is spacious and thoroughly enjoyable, with a total surface of 50 m2 and a large sun pad, with a 2-section canopy and side curtains to ensure maximum privacy. To allow crew members to move about without interfering with guests, the layout includes a practical crew walkway located in front of the bridge. The standard forward garage was expanded upon request on the first unit, and can stow a tender up to 3 metres long or a jet ski.

A supreme expression of seaborne leisure, the sundeck on Custom Line Navetta 42 offers four fully- customisable areas that extend over an  18-metre long space with a  total surface of  92 m², covered by a hard-top.

Starting from the stern, there is an open sun pad followed by a covered lounge area featuring beach-style couches and other unique seating elements from the latest collection by Roda – the brand behind all of the exterior’s free-standing furniture. The dining area is a pleasantly informal space which includes a bar unit and a built-in table. Beyond the bar unit is the pool area, located forward, with a dumbwaiter that can, on request, reach all the way to the sun deck, as is the case on the first unit.

The black hard top – a nice colour contrast with the hull’s white – is mounted on 4 stainless steel poles that add character to the profile while contouring the shapes on an aesthetic level, while the opaque finishes on the inside enrich the ambiance by highlighting the exclusiveness and sophistication of the interiors.

The first unit of Custom Line Navetta 42 installs 2 CAT C32 ACERT V12 engines capable of generating

1470 mhp. The vessel can thus achieve a transatlantic range of approximately 3,000 nautical miles

at a fuel-efficient cruising speed of 10 knots (preliminary data), up to a maximum speed of 16 knots.

3 other pairs of engines are available: one standard and two extra:

• two CAT C32 ACERT V12 engines with 1623 mhp (standard)

• two MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines with 1725 mhp (extra)

• two MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines with 1469 mhp (extra)

To ensure maximum comfort while anchored, Navetta 42 is equipped wth 3 m² fin stabilizers by NAIAD Dynamics.

Azimut Grande 32 Metri

Returning once again to the Cannes Yachting Festival, running from 11 to 16 September, Azimut reveals exclusive models that combine luxury with comfort

With the new boat show season that has just started in Cannes, Azimut Yachts, the world’s leading yachts manufacturer with 7 offices in the Middle East including UAE, achieved an excellent year as Azimut Benetti Group closed the accounting period with value of production estimated at €850 million (+18% on the previous year at constant exchange rates) and an adjusted EBITDA of €50 million. Volumes are also up and stand at 261 new units.

The strengthening of the Azimut Benetti Group’s position in this segment, confirmed by its placing at the top of the Global Order Book ranking announced last December for the 18th year running, is attributable to the commercial success of the Azimut Grande range, and the 35 and 27-meter models in particular, with 10 and 21 units sold respectively since their market debut, and of the Benetti range. The main markets for Azimut are the Americas, which account for 38% of sales, followed by Europe with 33%, the Middle East with 16% and Asia Pacific with 13%. In South America, the success of the Itajai shipyard in Brazil deserves a special mention, increasing its value of production by 24%, with 36 yachts built, and bucking the trend reported by many European players who have decided to abandon the country.

The Group has invested over €104m over the last three-year period, of which €32m in production capacity and the remaining €72m in renewing the product range. In the upcoming three-year period (2019-2021), another €122m will be invested, of which €28m in production capacity and the remaining €94m on the development of 10 Azimut Yachts and 7 Benetti models to renew the range.

Giovanna Vitelli, Vice President of Azimut Benetti Groupemphasized, “The achievements reported this year, and throughout the Group’s history, are the result of an enterprise approach founded on stability and driven by the farsighted vision of the ownership, which has always pursued management continuity, professionalism and profound respect for the customer as the company’s fundamental values.”

She added, “Benetti will continue to pursue its tradition of excellence, with a management team strengthened by professionals of proven management experience and skill and multiple unique projects in the pipeline. In parallel, Azimut will continue to grow and consolidate its positioning, ensuring that the Group’s overall range continues to be the broadest and most comprehensive in the world. I am also delighted with the excellent performance reported by the other companies in the Group (Fraser, Lusben, Yachtique and the Marinas), which contribute to making us a uniquely distinctive player on the market.”

Azimut excels with new collection

One of the protagonists at this edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival is Azimut S6, the new entry in the S Collection. The S6 is a pure coupé with sporty DNA that looks set to leave its mark in the history of yacht world development, offering unprecedented levels of efficiency obtained with the help of the three IPS propulsion units and Carbon Tech. The exteriors are designed by Stefano Righini, who on this model has further accentuated the glazed surfaces in the hull, a distinctive feature of the S generation, giving the yacht an immediately recognisable profile. The defining characteristics of the interiors by Francesco Guida, for whom this is his second project with the shipyard, are a modern and discrete sense of elegance and a welcoming atmosphere bathed in warm colourways.

The Grande Collection, the most recently introduced collection of Azimut superyachts, has been joined by two new models. The first, the Azimut Grande 25 Metri, has a Carbon Tech superstructure, roll-bar, hard top and transom and represents the perfect blend of charm and technology. For the interiors, designer Achille Salvagni offers a non-conventional take on the living area by abandoning the typical distinction between sofa and dining area, and creating in their place one big space on the Main Deck, which can be transformed into a dining area when needed by raising a recessed table. This solution highlights the decidedly informal and original personality of this model. Two propulsion solutions are available, one with a pair of 1,650 hp Man engines and the other with two 1,800 hp Man units, for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots.

The desire to express an innovative vision that breaks with the past is the driver behind the second novelty in the Collection, the Azimut Grande 32 Metri. This superyacht is the epitome of avant-garde in every aspect, with multiple unprecedented solutions. The defining features of the model are the big, airy, interior and exterior spaces. Outdoors, designer Stefano Righini provides guests not only with a big beach club in the stern, but also a Fly Deck offering a remarkable 70 sq m of space split into three distinct areas: a dining area, a central living space, and finally a relaxation area in the bow with a hydromassage tub, which can become a second lounge area at the owner’s request. The airiness of the outside spaces is complemented by the luminosity of the interiors designed by Achille Salvagni. The full-beam owner’s suite, for example, is flooded with light through full-height glazed surfaces on both sides. Propulsion is provided by two 2,200 mHP MTU engines, driving the yacht to a top speed of 26.5 knots.

Marco Valle, CEO of Azimut Yachts clarified, “Azimut’s growth strategy is based on ever more substantial investments in product development, innovative technology and processes, new design trends and a global commercial presence. That’swhy, I’m confident about our distinctive exposure this year in Cannes Yachting Festival. A number of unique amenities make the flagship of the Azimut Yachts lineup stand out. Furthermore, our yachts’ materials have been designed to offer the ultimate leisure experience and developed for customers to guarantee the most accurate representation of the yacht possible.”

Valle explained, “Our product expansion strategy has proven its success in the market as we do identify the best context for each product. I’m also proud to have highly skilled and qualified team of designers who have different approaches coping with the latest technologies. I promise our clients to continue bringing to market products with strong personalities, each addressed to a specific targetwith a passionate touch of innovation.”

Azimut Yachts exhibits at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from September 11 to 16, Stand Palais 096. For the entire duration of the boat show, the Azimut fleet is available for visits on board.
